Start your Saturday with a warm-up run along the beach and around the Pier. Choose your speed, choose your distance (2mi and 5mi courses available), just be sure to meet under the iconic Pier sign at Colorado & Ocean at 8 AM. Walkers welcome too!


Come get stretchy at the far west end of the Pier. Flow breath to movement with the sound of the waves and regain your peace of mind and with Santa Monica's top instructors. New and experienced yogi's encouraged. Please bring your own mat.

Meet your instructors

Mike Nader

Mike first began practicing yoga with Bryan Kest in 2004 in order to help his posture as a drummer. What began as a physical practice quickly evolved into a mental practice, keeping him sane while he was on tour. After leaving the music industry, Mike went back to school and became an occupational therapist, currently specializing in orthopedics. Always looking to develop and expand his practice, Mike is a student of Para Yoga founder Rod Stryker and continues to deepen his understanding of the Yogic and Tantric traditions. Mike’s classes are complete practices with deliberate themes that include strong poses, breath work and meditation. Mike’s style of yoga is dynamic​, therapeutic and perfect for students looking to improve their knowledge of yoga.

Paula Tapia

Paula is a C-IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist and E-YRT500 Yoga Teacher specializing in Sports Medicine and Integrative Health. She is ​the ​Associate Director of Yoga and The Healing Sciences at LMU and has been teaching the movement of the body through dance, fitness, and Yoga for ​more than 20 years. Born and raised in Chile, Paula teaches ​yoga around the world in English and Spanish. Her style is preventive and challenging, mindful and dynamic, safe and suitable for everybody.

Eden Goldman

Dr. Eden Goldman, D.C., C-I.A.Y.T., E-RYT500, is the Director of the Yoga and the Healing Sciences Program at Loyola Marymount University and co-author of Yoga Therapy and Integrative Medicine: Where Ancient Science Meets Modern Medicine. A leading healthy lifestyle expert, wellness-based Chiropractor​, certified Yoga therapist and functional movement specialist, Dr. Goldman's work has been featured on​ top media outlets, ​i​​n​cluding​ CBS News, ABC News, AM Northwest, Yoga Journal, Yoga Mind Body Spirit, LA Yoga Magazine and ​in ​the top-selling book, Yoga for Dummies.

Jen Dapper

Jen Dapper has been in the health and fitness industry for​ more than​ 20 years as a​n​ independent elite personal trainer, health coach and yoga instructor. Jen is active in ​the ​Santa Monica​ community, serving as a National Brand Ambassador for Athleta, running corporate yoga events and teaching 15 local group classes per week. She teaches a well rounded class that aligns and educates ​yogis, leaving ​them feeling strong, balanced and confident.

Bryan Kest

Bryan Kest is the developer of Power Yoga, a workout for body, mind, and spirit. He has been practicing yoga for almost 40 years, teaching since 1985, and spent a year in India with K. Pattabhi Jois. Bryan founded and teaches at his own studio in Santa Monica, California. He offers workshops and retreats throughout the world, including a five-day, 40-hour teacher training and immersion program, and is featured in his online classes at

Marc Holzman

Marc is a certified Ayurveda practitioner with more than 17 years’ experience teaching Hatha Yoga and Meditation. He currently ​resides in both L.A. and Paris​, giving him greater access to the workshops, teacher trainings and retreats he teaches across the globe. He can also be found ​teaching yoga on His signature Ayurveda health coaching program, Evolutionary Habits, has been accelerating the wellness path of students since 2012.Ten years ago, Marc founded Guerilla Yogi, a donation-based community class, to encourage students of all economic circumstances to experience the joy of yoga. Guerilla Yogi continues to thrive in Paris where it has gained tremendous momentum.
