Need to Know

This is pure free-and-open-to-the-public fun, no tickets necessary, all thanks to our partners who are bringing us another season of concerts at the Pier. Make sure to show them some love. All ages welcome!

Don’t say we didn’t warn you. The struggle is real and congestion on concert nights is no laughing matter! You could be sitting in gridlock up to an hour. But, if you must, click below for the parking info. Just remember: don’t drink and drive!

5:45 PM: Venues opens, 6:30 PM: The beat drops on the Main stage, 8:00 PM: Headliner, 9:30PM Venue Closes*Special timing for Sunday, October 7: Venue opens at 4:30 PM and music starts at 5:00 PM

There are three entrances for Twilight on the Pier: the ramp on Ocean Avenue and Colorado, the Grand Entrance on Ocean Front Walk or the steps by Bubba Gump Shrimp (handicap accessible).

What to Bring

– Sweatshirt for those *chilly* Santa Monica nights– Friends & family because the more the merrier– Chairs and blankets if you want to rest the legs and get comfortable– Good vibes and an open mind: we’re bringing the world to the front porch of Southern California!

What not to Bring

– Alcohol of your own - we’ll have plenty of options here for you to enjoy– Cigarettes: it’s a 100-year-old wooden Pier and we don’t want to burn it down– Weapons of any kind because we’re all about good vibes and sunshine

Bag Search

Safety is the name of our game, so all guests will be subject to bag searches at all three entrances. Make sure you leave a little extra time. Please leave your cigarettes, weapons, alcohol, bikes and scooters at home. You will be permitted to bring purses & backpacks, recyclable water bottles, chairs & blankets, friends & family and all the good vibes.

Don’t even think about it… we really like our 100-year-old wooden Pier and want to see it here for another 100+ years.

Food & Drink

There are plenty of great food and beverage options on the deck thanks to Smorgasburg and at our Pier restaurants. Some will have amazing Twilight-only specials (Bubba Gump, Mariasol, Seaside on the Pier), so be sure to check those out! As a reminder, alcohol consumption is not permitted in public spaces, but there are several full-service bars in the area.

First Aid/Lost & Found

If you need first aid or assistance, please visit the Pier Tent or flag down a security officer. If it is an emergency, please call 911.

Concert Garden

There is a 21-and-over Concert Garden with cocktails, beers and non-alcoholic beverages from Boulevard, Aperol, White Claw and more!

We love furry friends on the Pier, but please keep them on a leash.

Metro Expo

The Metro Expo connects DTLA to the Pier. On Twilight nights, trains will operate on rush service schedule, leaving every 6 minutes heading Westbound towards Santa Monica. Get your fare ahead of time to avoid long lines -- and save money -- on your TAP card ($3.50 roundtrip).

The City of Santa Monica will provide a free bike valet so you can check your bike in safely. They are are on the sand just north of the Pier, near Bubba Gump.

There are many ways to get to and around Santa Monica. Driving on concert nights can lead to a whole lot of waiting after the show - don't say we didn't warn you. Exiting Downtown Santa Monica can take up to an hour due to gridlock. If you have to drive, here are your parking options. And remember, don’t drink and driveLot 4 South - $5 (starting 6AM)Lot 5 South - $5 (starting 6AM)Civic Center  - $5 (starting 4PM)Lot 1 North - $25 (starting 4PM)

Breeze Bike Share

The City of Santa Monica will provide two free bike valets on the South side of the Pier, so you can check your bike in safely. We also have BREEZE bike share at 5 locations near the Pier. Note: bike valet will not accept Breeze Bikes).

Big Blue Bus

Big Blue Bus routes 1, 2, 3, 7, Rapid 7, 9 and 18 all stop near the Pier, with stops in both directions in 4th Street between Colorado Avenue and Broadway. Plan your trip on GOOGLE TRANSIT. Roundtrip is $2.50 or go cashless and download the mobile ticketing app from TOKEN TRANSIT.

Lyft & Rideshare

To get you in/out quickly and safely, catch you Lyft at the intersection of Olympic and Main Street. Make your way through Tongva Park from the Pier and look for the pink shirts to help you find your way. Or, look for The Free Ride shuttles on Arcadia Terrace (just off Appian Way) to get you to Main/Olympic on wheels.

scoot, scoot! Please be safe, wear a helmet and follow the rules if you scoot over. No scooters are allowed on the Pier or on Ocean Front Walk.

Keep the Beaches Clean!

These are your beaches, keep ‘em clean. Twilight is awesome, trash on the beach isn’t. Pack out what you pack in so it doesn’t pollute the ocean or injure beach-goers the next day. The more it costs to clean up, the less money there is for bands. Rock on.
