Need to Know

This is pure free-and-open-to-the-public fun, no tickets necessary, all thanks to our partners who are bringing us another season of concerts at the Pier. Make sure to show them some love. All ages welcome!

We highly recommend alternate transport for a hassle-free experience (EXPO, Bus, Breeze Bike Share, rideshare, skateboard, walk, llama), but if you need to drive, parking is available in the 1550 Pacific Coast Highway Lot next to the Pier on a first-come, first-served basis.

6:30PM - 9:30PM, but those in the know stake out a good spot early. Dates are Sept 5, Sept 12, Sept 19, Sept 25, Oct 3, and Oct 7.

Enter on the Pier ramp from Ocean Avenue and Colorado, The Grand Entrance on Ocean Front Walk or the steps by Bubba Gump.

What to Bring

– Sweatshirt for those *chilly* Santa Monica nights– Friends & family because the more the merrier– Chairs and blankets if you want to rest the legs and get comfortable– Good vibes and an open mind: we’re bringing the world to the front porch of Southern California!

What not to Bring

– Alcohol of your own - we’ll have plenty of options here for you to enjoy– Cigarettes: it’s a 100-year-old wooden Pier and we don’t want to burn it down– Weapons of any kind because we’re all about good vibes and sunshine

Bag Checks

Safety is the name of the game, so expect bag check at all three entrances. All attendees are subject to search upon entry so leave a little extra time to get onto the deck.

Don’t even think about it… we really like our 100-year-old wooden Pier and want to see it here for another 100+ years.

Food & Drink

There are plenty of great food and beverage options on the deck thanks to Smorgasburg and at our Pier restaurants. Some will have amazing Twilight-only specials (Bubba Gump, Mariasol, Seaside on the Pier), so be sure to check those out! As a reminder, alcohol consumption is not permitted in public spaces, but there are several full-service bars in the area.

First Aid/Lost & Found

If you need first aid or assistance, please visit the Pier Tent or flag down a security officer. If it is an emergency, please call 911.

Concert Garden

There is a 21-and-over Concert Garden with cocktails, beers and non-alcoholic beverages from Aperol, White Claw, Duvel and Deep Eddy Vodka.

We love furry friends on the Pier, but please keep them on a leash.

Metro Expo

The Expo Line connects DTLA to the Pier. Trains leave every 6 minutes until 7 p.m. then every 10-15 minutes. Roundtrip fare is $3.50 on your TAP card.

The City of Santa Monica will provide two free bike valets so you can check your bike in safely. They are are on the sand just south of the Pier and at the intersection of Broadway and Ocean Avenue in Palisades Park.

There are many ways to get to and around Santa Monica. Driving on concert nights can lead to a whole lot of waiting after the show - don't say we didn't warn you. Exiting Downtown Santa Monica can take up to an hour due to gridlock. If you have to drive, here are your parking options. And remember, don’t drink and drive
  • P1 Lot 1 North - 1550 PCH
  • Pc Civic Center Lot - 1855 Main St
  • P4 Lot 4 South - 2030 Ocean Ave
  • P5 Lot 5 South - 2600 Barnard Way

Big Blue Bus

Big Blue Bus routes 1, 2, 3, 7, Rapid 7, 9 and 18 all stop near the Pier, with stops in both directions in 4th Street between Colorado Avenue and Broadway. Route 8 stops right in front of the Pier on Ocean and Colorado. Plan your trip on GOOGLE TRANSIT. Roundtrip is $2.50 or go cashless and download the mobile ticketing app from TOKEN TRANSIT.

Lyft & Rideshare

To get you in/out quickly and safely, catch you Lyft at the intersection of Olympic and Main Street. Make your way through Tongva Park from the Pier and look for the pink shirts to help you find your way.

Scoot, scoot! Please be safe and follow the rules when you zip over - it’ll be crowded around the Pier!

Keep the Beaches Clean!

These are your beaches, keep ‘em clean. Twilight is awesome, trash on the beach isn’t. Pack out what you pack in so it doesn’t pollute the ocean or injure beach-goers the next day. The more it costs to clean up, the less money there is for bands. Rock on.
