Parking


There is parking on the Pier deck, accessible via the ramp at Ocean and Colorado. There are also two lower lots accessible via Appian Way. Click here for a map and click here for all the seasonal rates and hours.

EXPO Line


Go Metro and take the Expo Line to Downtown Santa Monica Station and take a short walk directly to the Pier. Join The Movement and plan your trip here.

What are the hours of the Pier?

The Pier is always open, and always fun, year-round. But check with individual businesses for their specific hours of operation.

Are dogs welcomed?

Yes friendly dogs on leash are welcome on the Pier, but not on the beach.

Can I smoke on the pier?

Don’t even think about it… we really like our 100-year-old wooden Pier and want to see it here for another 100+ years.

Can I get to the Pier without a car?

Of course! You can take the train from Downtown Los Angeles directly to Downtown Santa Monica. The Expo Line Downtown Santa Monica Station is less than a 10 minute walk to the Pier. Join The Movement and try it out.

There are no lockers or personal storage space on the Pier.

How far away are you from LAX?

We are about 9miles/14.5km away from LAX. Depending on traffic conditions, it would be a 30-45 minute drive.

Our buddies at 3rd Street are only a brisk 10 minute walk away!
