PLOW POSTURE

6:00-7:00 PM

Born on Bay Street, raised on the Third St Promenade, the Plow Posture legend runs deep in the veins of Santa Monica. This band of brothers created a new sound that combined surf style, rock, funk and 90’s r&b into a jam that brought people of all walks of life together. If you were there, you know. Reimagined and ready to bring their special brand of magic to a new generation, Plow Posture is back.

CYCOTIC YOUTH

7:00-8:00 PM

Formed in 1985 by brothers Jimmy and Jason Brown, CYCOTIC YOUTH blends skateboarding, surfing, and punk influences into an authentic representation of Southern California culture. Originally a fixture in the west side punk scene, the band reemerged in 2019 after a hiatus prompted by a memorial, led by co-founder Jason Brown. Their 2021 self-titled album garnered significant praise, and in 2022, the band underwent a lineup change, resulting in a fresh musical direction and newfound cohesion. With additions like Rico Villasenor and Axis, alongside drummer Matt Morales, CYCOTIC YOUTH is gearing up for a summer 2024 release of their next full-length album, while actively performing live.

STRAWBERRY FUZZ

8:00-10:00 PM

Carrying on a lineage that stretches from The Doors to FIDLAR,  indie punk band Strawberry Fuzz document the wildlife in and around their Venice Beach turf. Channeling stories of parties, junkies, sex, violence and camaraderie through a keenly observant lens, they meticulously capture the smell, sound, taste and feel of life on the streets, in the bars, bedrooms and basements of the bleary side of Los Angeles.

Inspired by artists like The Cramps, Black Flag and The Germs as well as Elvis, RL Burnside and Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Strawberry Fuzz’s manic live show was perfectly captured on their debut collection of demos Fuzztapes Vol. 1. Now back with a full-length record releasing this winter, they continue to rip up stages and whip up pits all along the West Coast. See them at bit.ly/fuzzshows
