Get ready, Santa Monica! November’s Locals' Night is going to be the event to kick off your holiday season! Join us on Thursday, November 21st at the Santa Monica Pier for an evening packed with fun, music, and community vibes. We’re turning up the holiday spirit with our Holiday Art Mart, where you can shop local, snag one-of-a-kind gifts, and support awesome small businesses—holiday shopping has never felt this good!
Bring the kiddos to the Merry Go-Round building for some story time magic with Books & Cookies at 3:30pm and 4:30pm. Don’t miss the Santa Monica Ballet Folklorico performance at 4:30pm, bringing beautiful, traditional dance to the Pier. Car lovers, we’ve got you covered too with epic car club displays that’ll make you swoon. Ready to shake things up? Dive into salsa dance lessons with Salsa Way and the amazing Courtney Parisi, and groove to beats spun by Santa Monica local DJ Devil-Los.
And the party doesn’t stop there! We’re bringing the heat with live music from the electrifying Mayaztek and the legendary Leslie Paula & Latin Soul Band. Leslie Paula & Latin Soul Band | 6:00-7:30pm
Leslie Paula, born into a musical legacy, learned the art from her father, Latin music icon Mike Gutierrez, known for performing with legends like Bobby Montez and Cal Tjader. Since forming her Latin Soul Band in 1995, Leslie has lit up the Los Angeles music scene and performed at prestigious events like the Oscars, Emmys, and the Playboy Jazz Festival. With sold-out shows at London's Ronnie Scott’s and European tours, Leslie’s performances blend Salsa, Bolero, Jazz, and R&B, captivating audiences with unmatched energy and soul.

Born in Los Angeles, California, and created by Moises Lovos, Mayaztek delivers a high-energy musical performance with a unique sound and style. The band blends genres such as ska, rock, reggae, cumbia, songo, and Latin jazz. Composed of musicians from diverse parts of the world, Mayaztek is a multicultural fusion that promotes unity, harmony, respect, love, joy, and dance.
