Go Metro
Take the Big Blue Bus or Expo Line. Plan your trip ahead using Google Transit or City Mapper tools, and note: there may be closures along the way!
Rideshare
Hail a ride with our friends at Lyft. Pick-up and drop-off areas located on Ocean Avenue just north of Colorado (along Palisades Park)!
Scooter or Bike
Please be safe, wear a helmet and follow the rules if you scoot or bike. Use the free Bike Valet at the Pier entry near Bubba Gump restaurant. No scooters are allowed on the Pier or Beach Path so make sure you park your scooter at the scooter parking zone at the top of the Pier Bridge on Ocean/Colorado Avenue. Note: shared scooters and bikes are not accepted at the Bike Valet.
Driving
We suggest the greener modes of transport, but if you must drive, there are parking lots around the beach/Pier and downtown Santa Monica. Check out the City of Santa Monica’s website for information about parking (we suggest the Civic Center parking garage). Just remember: don’t drink and drive!
Oversized Vehicles
Oversized vehicles are not permitted to park in the 1500 lot (the lot just North of the Pier). You can unload your craft here, and then you will need to move your van/vehicle to Santa Monica Beach Lot 3N - located at 1150 Pacific Coast Hwy. This is a 10 minute walk from the Pier.
Volunteer
We have a variety of volunteer opportunities available at this event (registration, set up, directing racers where to go). Regardless of where you are at during the event, expect an amazing day at the Santa Monica Pier. We thank you for your time! SIGN UP HERE TO VOLUNTEER
